Mt. Lebanon Shaker Settee

One of the rarest forms of Shaker furniture, this wonderful double armchair was originally made in the South Family chair shop at Mt. Lebanon, New York Shaker community toward the end of the 19th century. Perhaps no more than a half a dozen have survived. Thanks to the generous assistance of a private collector, Shaker Workshops has obtained measurements enabling us to offer a reproduction of the highest quality. The scale of the piece is well suited for today's home; two adults are accommodated comfortably.

We make the Mt. Lebanon Settee in clear hard maple. Height of back is 37 1/2". Height of seat 16 1/2". Width 43 1/4". Depth 19".

Shown in Light Stain with Lacquer Finish; woven in 1" Beige and 1" Natural chair tape in a checkerboard pattern. Please select the stain and chair tape colors of your choice (below).

Available as an unfinished kit and a "made to order" finished piece.
